About Chelsea
I'm a Southern California native, rooted here in Newport Beach. From a young age, I was endlessly curious about people: why we do what we do, how we relate to one another, and what gets in the way of our happiness. That curiosity led me to pursue a Master of Science in Counseling from California State University, Fullerton, and ultimately to a dual licensure as both a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). Working in the field for over 10 years, I’ve found great meaning in helping people change the way they relate to themselves and the people in their lives.
On Romantic and Sexual Relationships
I've long been fascinated by what makes relationships thrive and what quietly erodes them over time. Esther Perel, one of the world's leading voices on couples and intimacy, puts it simply: "The quality of our relationships determines the quality of our lives." I believe that deeply. When we feel genuinely connected to the people we love, everything else tends to work better. As a PACT Level 2 trained therapist, I work with couples to move beyond surface conflict and build relationships that feel honest, secure, and alive.
On Chronic Pain
This work is also personal. In 2018, I went through my own chronic pain journey. One that brought a wide range of symptoms including fibromyalgia, gut issues, pelvic pain, IBS, interstitial cystitis, and persistent muscle twitching, just to name a few. In all honesty, I felt terrified and helpless. I was struggling to function and feared I would lose everything I worked so hard for at that point in my life - and be in pain forever. In searching for real answers, I discovered Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) and it changed everything. I healed these chronic symptoms and that experience transformed how I understand the connection between the nervous system, the body, and emotional wellbeing.
If you're living with chronic pain or unexplained physical symptoms, whether linked to anxiety, stress, nervous system disregulation, or something you haven't been able to name. You're in the right place. So if you are feeling scared, discouraged, or helpless, I’m here to help. I know this path firsthand. I'll bring both clinical expertise and genuine understanding to help you find your way through it.
